Our Story

planet prestige is more than a vehicle finance company; it’s a story of passion, experience, run by car lovers for car lovers.

Our journey began in March 2007 when childhood friends and business partners Gary Rose and Darren Nash launched Planet Leasing from their Essex base during the height of the financial recession. Rather than being deterred by the challenging economic climate, they recognised that if they could successfully launch and thrive during such difficult times, they were building something truly special.

Building Excellence Through Experience
Gary brought extensive business expertise from running successful ventures since 1989, whilst Darren contributed over a decade of motor industry experience from retail sales and management, including significant time at Lexus – globally renowned for exceptional customer service. Together, they identified an opportunity to create an independent vehicle finance company that would prioritise genuine customer care over simply competing on price.

Since those early days, Planet Leasing has evolved from a small Essex-based start-up to a nationally recognised business, earning multiple industry awards including Feefo’s Platinum Trusted Service Award.
